Empowering the Youth
Founded in 2020 by Roscoe Ivan Pekeur, the Youth Independence Party & Youth Associates has started numerous successful projects that have produced real change, both in Montagu and across the Langeberg. Through events, fundraisers, outreach programs and petitions organized by our dedicated members. We work to hold leaders and decision-makers accountable for their actions, moving them to rethink what is possible.

With the local elections 27 October 2021 we are giving local candidates the opportunity to run as Ward councilor. By campaigning with us you become a crucial part of our movement by making sure that our mission is heard and has a far-reaching, lasting impact.

Our work is never done, and we can use all the help we can get. One of the ways you can take part is by Volunteering. Spread the word about all that The Shooting Star is doing, and help us gain the support we need.
